During two weeks the participants will gain in-depth exposure to different Asian religious traditions and projects of interfaith cooperation. The participants will undertake experiential, inter-cultural and rigorous interactive learning through a specially designed curriculum, which explores justice and peace issues from a distinctively inter-religious perspective.
The course is open to young people between 20-35 years of age, with a maximum of 32 participants. The goal is to have a diverse representation of the WCC member churches in Asia.
Participants will be equipped as leaders in their own churches, ecumenical councils, seminaries and well positioned to influence the thinking of members of their wider faith communities after completion of the summer course.
The seminar is coordinated by Dr Peniel Rajkumar, programme executive for Inter-religious Dialogue and Cooperation.
Deadline for applications: 4 March 2016
